Welcome to our wedding website! We are so excited to celebrate our special day with you in beautiful Spain. Here, you’ll find all the information you need about our wedding, including travel tips, accommodation recommendations, and (eventually) the schedule of events. We can’t wait to see you on May 28, 2025! Love, Jarid & Joanne.
Our Story
So Far...
We met in 2009, and officially got together just after midnight on NYE. Since then, we’ve been through university together, bought a house, got a cat, changed jobs a million times, and seen 13 countries, including many trips to Spain. We finally got engaged in September of 2022 – Jarid can tell you the story in person! And here we are now, glad you’re here with us.
“Will you marry me, Jo?”
“Piss off! Why are you winding me up?”

How To Get There
This bit has taken quite a while... we hope it's useful!
Where To Stay
We'd recommend staying in and around Dénia or Jávea (Xàbia)
Things To Do
We've sampled the cocktails, we've tried the food, now it's your turn
The Schedule
We picked Spain so that everyone could spend some time together and unwind
Some Questions and Answers:
Some of our nieces and nephews will be there, but we kindly ask that you make arrangements for childcare if possible. However, we do not want anyone to miss out on our celebration, so if attending without your children is not feasible, please feel free to bring them along. Your presence is what matters most to us.
This bit will be confirmed a little closer to the date, but it’s looking like an early afternoon ceremony, some drinks and a mingle, dinner and speeches, then on to the dance floor.
Honestly, whatever you’re most comfortable in. It’s (hopefully) going to be pretty warm. Something you can dance in. Something with an elasticated belt so you can eat loads. Something colourful and cheerful!
So for those of you staying in Dénia or Jávea (Xàbia), we will be providing a coach to bring you to the venue and to take you home. There will only be one pick up location in each town, so you’ll need to make your way there. Taxis are super easy and quite cheap, so shouldn’t be an issue.
For those of you staying further afield, message one of us directly and we will send you the venue details. We kindly ask that you are nice and early, as the coaches are mainly to ensure everyone is there on time!
We’ve got some awesome photographers and we will get the pictures out to you as soon as we can. We kindly ask that you don’t take photos or have your phones out during the ceremony, and please don’t post anything until we have first. After the ceremony, have at it!
